Job Description

Nesco Resource is in search of an Accounting Assistant to join our client’s team in Shelton, CT on a temp to hire basis. Looking for a motivated individual to support the accounting department with a variety of accounting and administrative tasks. This is an entry level position ideal for a recent college grad or someone with 1-2 years of financial experience.

Responsibilities include:
  • Accounts Receivable tasks including entering daily cash receipts, data entry, tracking and logging customer account information.
  • Support purchasing process including PO management, monitor inventory levels, vendor relations.
  • Ensure financial data is clean and accurately tracked.
  • Additional tasks as dictated by the team.
Education and Experience:
  • A.S. degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of related experience in A/R preferred
  • ERP experience; Epicor experience a plus
Additional Information:
  • 3 month temporary assignment with possible extension
  • 1 st shift, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (1 hour lunch)
  • Pay range: $22 – $24/hour
