Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Administrator/Practice Manager for a growing clinic in Medford. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who is actively engaged in daily operations and committed to ongoing education. We are looking for someone open to growth, willing to assist with development, train staff, and maintain a professional demeanor while working directly with

our providers, ensuring they receive strong support and safeguarding the smooth function and efficiency of the clinic. 

Key responsibilities include managing staff, overseeing finances, coordinating patient care, and ensuring compliance with regulations, all aimed at improving practice performance and providing a positive patient experience. Experience in processing payroll, managing 401(k) plans, and bookkeeping is desired, but not required.

This is a full-time position. Starting hourly wages are between $35 and $50 per hour, depending on experience.

Staff management:

Training, supervising, and evaluating staff. Scheduling and managing employee time-off requests and ensuring adequate coverage. 

Financial Management:

Managing budgets, processing payroll, handling billing and coding, and ensuring accurate financial records. 

Compliance and Regulations:

Ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations, privacy policies, and safety standards. 

Facility and Equipment

Management:

Maintaining equipment, supplies, and ensuring a safe and functional work environment. 

Relationship Management:

Building and maintaining relationships with insurance providers, vendors, and other external stakeholders. 

 

Quality Improvement:

Identifying areas for improvement, implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity, and monitoring key performance indicators. 

 

Required Skills:

Leadership:

Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts.

Financial:

Understanding of budgeting, financial statements, and billing/coding procedures.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with physicians, staff, patients, and external parties.

 

Organizational Skills:

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain detailed records.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to identify and resolve operational issues, patient concerns, and other challenges.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, practice management software, and other relevant technologies. 

Qualifications:

Education:

A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience, or relevant certifications, such as the CMPE Certified Medical Practice Executive.

Experience:

Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare management, preferably in a medical practice setting.

Must pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and reference checks.

Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
