Afterschool Nanny – Sudbury, MA $30–$32 hour

Start Date: Mid to Late August 2025
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:15 PM – 6:15 PM (Guaranteed 25 hrs/week)
Hourly Rate: $30–$32/hour
Commitment: Academic Year (with potential for schedule change in summer)

A warm, professional family in Sudbury, MA is seeking an engaging and reliable afterschool nanny to care for their three children (ages 7, 11, and 14). This role is ideal for a nurturing, organized individual who enjoys working with school-aged children and supporting a busy household during critical afterschool hours.

Responsibilities:

• School pick-ups and transportation to activities
• Supervise and assist with homework and school projects
• Engage children in age-appropriate play and conversation
• Prepare afterschool snacks and lunches for the next day
• Children's laundry and light tidying of play areas and bedrooms
• Maintain a consistent and patient approach to routines and transitions
• Occasionally cover full-day care on school holidays, sick days, or half-day camp weeks (advance notice given)

Ideal Candidate:

• Kind, patient, and able to motivate and guide children
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Prior experience as a nanny, educator, or working with school-age children
• Comfortable caring for multiple children with differing schedules
• Background in education or child development is a plus (not required)
• Mature, dependable, and collaborative with parents

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Own car for school pickups and errands (mileage reimbursed)
• Covid-vaccinated
• Comfortable with one small dog
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide 3-5 professional references
