Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer with experience in Copado to join a high-performing team supporting secure and efficient software delivery within the utility and energy sector. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to automate infrastructure, streamline CI/CD processes, and embed security practices within the pipeline. Candidates must be passionate about infrastructure as code, automation, and working in highly regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. CI/CD Pipeline Development – Azure DevOps
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes for high-availability energy systems.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to enhance delivery efficiency.
- Mentor team members on DevOps and Agile practices.
2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Implement and manage IaC using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation .
- Support hybrid cloud and edge environments typically found in utility operations.
- Ensure infrastructure is secure, scalable, reproducible, and compliant with industry regulations.
3. Agile Process & Project Management – Azure DevOps Boards
- Create and manage Agile artifacts: Epics, Features, User Stories, and Tasks.
- Partner with Product Owners and Scrum Masters for sprint planning and execution.
- Configure workflows, dashboards, and reporting to track team and project performance.
4. DevSecOps – Security & Compliance Integration
- Integrate security checkpoints into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Ensure solutions align with regulatory standards such as NERC CIP or ISO 27001 .
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering , or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps or similar technical roles.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps , CI/CD pipelines, and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation tools.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and use of Azure DevOps Boards.
- Experience in the utility or energy sector is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with industry compliance frameworks (e.g., NERC CIP, ISO 27001).
