This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

YOUR TEAM.

The Business Analyst supports project teams by gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting processes, workflows and contributing to the design of solutions that meet product owner stakeholder needs. This role is ideal for early- to mid-career professionals who are developing their analytical and communication skills in a structured project environment. The Business Analyst will work under supervision at the basic level and with increasing independence at the proficient level, contributing to both technical and strategic project activities.

  • Support the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and project team meetings to ensure alignment on requirements and progress.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Technical Tasks

  • Maintain and organize project documentation, including meeting notes, requirements, and action items.
  • Assist in creating process flows, use cases, and traceability matrices to support solution design.
  • Support testing and validation efforts to ensure deliverables meet specified requirements.
  • Use project management and documentation tools (e.g., Viso, Microsoft Office, Monday.com) to manage tasks and artifacts.

Strategic Tasks

  • Gather and analyze business requirements through interviews, workshops, and document analysis.
  • Interpret simple to moderately complex data patterns and propose process improvements.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps and strategic planning discussions.
  • Support change management efforts by helping stakeholders adapt to new systems and processes.

Development & Leadership

  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the PMO structure.
  • Participate in professional development activities such as PMI membership and on-demand training.
  • Collaborate effectively within teams and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • At the proficient level, lead small work groups and manage stakeholder relationships with minimal supervision.

Your Experience.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, or related roles.
  • Familiarity with business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., process modeling, requirements gathering).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Certifications

  • Entry-level: Interest in pursuing Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI-PBA.
