Job Description
Griswold Home Care in Salisbury, MD which serves the Lower Eastern Shore, is looking for a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to assist with daily living tasks and provide companionship to a client in their home. This is a non-medical role that includes light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation and general support to help the individual remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Hours vary between 8:00am to 4:00pm, days will vary.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, companionship and social interaction
- Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, vacuuming, tidying up)
- Prepare and serve simple meals
- Support with transportation and errands such as grocery shopping, prescription pickups or doctor appointments
- Help maintain a clean and organized home environment
- Encourage and support daily routines and activities
- Report any changes in the client’s condition to family or supervisor
- Completing all documentation for each shift you work, submitting timely updates
Qualifications:

2+ years of previous caregiver experience preferred (personal or professional)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Patient, kind, and reliable
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Required to be CPR Certified
* Must pass a background check
