Compass Point Contracting is looking for an experienced Class 3 Truck Driver to join our Self Perform team. This role is vital in ensuring construction projects run smoothly by safely transporting materials, equipment, and debris to and from job sites. Working closely with warehouse managers, logistics coordinators, and project teams, you'll help keep projects on schedule while maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.

• Safely operate dump trucks and flatbeds to deliver construction materials and equipment.
• Secure and balance loads according to transportation regulations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections; report and coordinate repairs.
• Keep accurate driving logs, fuel and mileage records, and trip documentation.
• Follow company safety protocols, wear PPE, and participate in toolbox talks.
• Communicate with site supervisors and adjust deliveries to project needs.
• Assist with loading/unloading using forklifts, cranes, or manual handling.
• Support site logistics after deliveries are complete.

• Education: High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Experience: 3-5 years of commercial driving experience, preferably in construction.
• Licences: Valid Class 3 driver's licence with heavy haul endorsement and a clean abstract.
• Technical: Familiarity with GPS, logbook software, load tracking, and maintenance systems.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail for load securing, inspections, and documentation.
• Other: Effective problem-solving and time management skills; a reliable, safety-focused, and collaborative work style.
