Job Title: Cleaning Technician – Chemical Handling

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Cleaning Technician to join our team. This role involves washing equipment according to established protocols and safely handling common industrial cleaning agents. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an environment that requires physical activity and chemical exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash components according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Safely handle and use cleaning agents including isopropyl alcohol (IPA), methanol, and industrial bleach.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist team members and complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Physical & Safety Requirements

• Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals including IPA, methanol, and industrial bleach.
• Must be able to lift and carry items up to 40 lbs.
• Standing, bending, and repetitive motion required for extended periods.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain focus in a task-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a cleaning, janitorial, or industrial environment a plus.
• Understanding of basic safety procedures for chemical handling.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
