Commercial Project Manager

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Salary Range: $70,000 – $75,000

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of custom commercial projects from start to finish. This role focuses on managing schedules, closing action items, and ensuring client satisfaction—without direct involvement in design or fabrication. The ideal candidate will bring strong construction background knowledge, the ability to interpret architectural drawings, and the confidence to lead hard conversations when needed.

Daily Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously, from initial client handoff to final delivery.
• Review and interpret architectural and design drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
• Lead project meetings with internal teams, contractors, and clients to align schedules and expectations.
• Track and close project action items to maintain momentum and meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure timely material procurement and delivery.
• Resolve project challenges through proactive communication and problem-solving.
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, addressing issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation, schedules, and records for each project.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing commercial construction or custom manufacturing projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
• Background in construction management, with experience leading client-facing discussions.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
