Job Title: Entry-Level Electrical Engineer
Reports To: Senior Electrical Engineer or Engineering Manager
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of electrical power distribution and control systems for manufacturing facilities. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment while learning from experienced engineers and working on real-world industrial projects.
Assist in the design of electrical power distribution and instrumentation/control systems
Support the creation of engineering documentation such as specifications, drawings, and bills of materials
Perform basic calculations and assist in selecting electrical equipment
Work closely with senior engineers and designers to support project delivery
Help prepare reports, sketches, and schematic diagrams under supervision
Participate in cross-functional project meetings and contribute to team discussions
Support construction, commissioning, and startup activities with guidance
Learn and apply internal engineering standards and industry best practices
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or expected within 6 months)
Strong interest in power distribution and control systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; exposure to AutoCAD or similar drafting tools a plus
Eagerness to learn and contribute to engineering projects
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and willingness to take initiative
Internship or co-op experience in an industrial or engineering environment
Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, or related codes
Exposure to reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
