Export Manager Location Churubusco, IN :

C&A Tool a leading manufacturer since 1969 of precision products for the aerospace, industrial and medical device markets is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Export Control Administrator - Churubusco . Operating three manufacturing facilities in Northeast Indiana (Auburn / Churubusco) and employing nearly 600 skilled workers, we are an integral part of a larger global manufacturing conglomerate, MinebeaMitsumi.

Compensation: $60K to $65K Depending on Experience and/or Formal Training

Required Skills/Working Knowledge:

  • ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations): Governs the export of defense articles and services.
  • EAR (Export Administration Regulations): Governs the export of commodities, software, and technology.
  • OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control): Administers and enforces economic and trade sanctions.
  • Other relevant regulations: Knowledge of other US and international export control laws and regulations is also crucial.
  • Export Classification: Ability to determine the correct Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) or USML category for items being exported.
  • Restricted Party Screening: Knowledge of screening processes to ensure compliance with sanctions and embargoes.
  • Familiarity with Compliance Software and Tools: Experience with DECCS, SNAP-R, AES Direct, etc.
  • Training and Education: Ability to develop and deliver training programs on export control compliance.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex regulations and identify potential compliance issues.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and maintain detailed records.
  • 3 years minimum experience
  • US Citizen due to ITAR regulations

Additional Skills/Knowledge Preferred:

  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Completion of required quality documents (control plans, first articles, part inspection layout, complaints, non-conformances, etc…).
  • Knowledge of AS9100D quality standard.
  • Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspections
  • Knowledge of Metrology and inspection methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Associate's Degree or a Technical certification in Quality.
