Position Purpose:
Group Counselors are the primary caregivers for each camper. The Group Counselor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and safely guiding campers in their personal growth, daily living skills, and to their daily activities. We work hard, have fun, and we are a positive role model for our campers. Candidates must be dedicated, responsible and eager to make every day fun at camp. We hire both Head Counselors (college graduates or similar in age) and Junior Counselors (17 years old through college ages).
Essential Job Functions:
Participate in the development and implementation of program activities for campers within the mission.
Maintain high standards of health and safety in all activities for campers and staff.
Be a role model to campers and staff in attitude and behavior.
Represent the camp in a positive way when interacting with parents or community members.
