Job Title: Quality Inspector – Aerospace Repairs

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you'll perform Receiving, In-Process, and Final Inspections on aerospace components and assemblies. Your work ensures compliance with drawings, specifications, and purchase orders, and helps maintain the highest standards of quality and safety in our repair operations.
This is a hands-on role utilizing precision measurement tools and test equipment to assess conformity and support documentation for certification and shipping purposes.
Conduct Receiving Inspections to verify incoming parts and materials against specifications, drawings, and purchase orders
Perform In-Process Inspections of sub-assemblies and components during manufacturing and repair processes
Complete Final Inspections to ensure finished assemblies meet production requirements and documentation is complete and accurate
Maintain accurate inspection records and certification documentation
Support in-house quality audits and follow department protocols for document control
Work collaboratively with QA, production, and shipping/receiving teams
Provide constructive feedback and support team-oriented workflows
Foster respectful, clear, and professional communication within the team
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Required Experience:
Minimum 3 years of inspection experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or production
At least 2–4 years of hands-on experience with in-process and final inspections
Proficiency with precision measurement tools and interpreting aerospace drawings
Knowledge of dimensioning, tolerancing, and industry documentation standards
Familiarity with aerospace component assembly instruction and maintenance manuals
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Understanding of inspection productivity standards
Preferred:
Experience with aerospace electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
