PRN LPN - Make a Difference in Infusion Care at SIMEDHealth Ocala!
Are you a compassionate and skilled LPN looking for a flexible PRN opportunity?  SIMEDHealth in Ocala, FL, is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to provide essential medical care to our infusion patients.
In this role, you will directly contribute to the well-being of our patients by administering infusions, monitoring their progress, and ensuring their comfort and safety under the guidance of our physicians and advanced practitioners. You'll be an integral part of optimizing our clinic's efficiency and providing exceptional patient care.
What You'll Do:

• Skillfully perform IV starts and diligently monitor infusions from start to finish.
• Accurately take and record patient vital signs.
• Adhere to proper techniques and best practices in all procedures.
• Thoroughly document patient information in our EHR, including vitals, administered medications, and relevant notes for providers.
• Closely oversee and maintain the health status of patients throughout their infusion therapy.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to any potential side effects during and after infusions.
• Conduct brief pre-infusion assessments to ensure patient safety.
• Assist in the management and maintenance of necessary supplies and equipment.
• Adhere to scheduling and physician orders prior to initiating infusions.
• Efficiently schedule infusion appointments using our EHR system.
• Collaborate with the infusion coordinator to confirm required authorizations.
• Perform other nursing duties as directed.

What You'll Bring:

• Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing. (REQUIRED)
• Current Florida LPN or RN license in good standing. (REQUIRED)
• Current CPR/BLS certification. (REQUIRED)
• IV Therapy Certification (REQUIRED).
• Experience with IV therapy infusions (rheumatology related infusions preferred).
• Demonstrated computer proficiency, including typing and navigating various programs.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively as part of a healthcare team.
• Strong initiative, excellent prioritization and multitasking skills, and exceptional organizational abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with electronic health record systems.
• 3-5 years of experience in a medical office or hospital setting. '
