DescriptionSummary: Performs receiving, inspects and delivery duties for the Stockroom or to the user departments as directed. Completes designated departmental requisitions, picks and delivers inventory items to user departments. Packs and prepares items for shipping, prepares and maintains shipping records, and posts weights and shipping charges by department. These services are provided in a professional timely matter and with the constant awareness that the quality of the department's services have a direct impact on the institution's ability to provide excellent patient care. The associate may be called upon to perform duties of driver if the need shall occur. The job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Associate may be required to perform other reasonable related job duties. Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to operate computer equipment for receiving supplies, furniture, and equipment. Federal Express and UPS outbound shipping. Must be able to push and/or pull delivery carts and pallet jack. Previous warehouse experience preferred. Must meet facility requirements for insurance coverage and complete required driver safety course. Work Schedule: 8AM - 5PM Monday-Friday Work Type: Per Diem As Needed
