Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description We are seeking two dedicated Medical Assistants to join our Plastics and Dermatology departments. These positions require candidates with steady work history and relevant experience, ideally having been in their last two positions for at least a year. The role involves working across multiple locations including Norwalk, New Milford, Ridgefield, and Danbury, with occasional travel to satellite offices. Mileage reimbursement is provided for inter-office travel. Responsibilities + Room patients and prepare them for exams and procedures. + Take and record vital signs accurately. + Assist nurses and physicians during patient visits. + Perform patient charting using NEXGEN EMR. + Clean and prep exam rooms according to infection control protocols. + Answer patient calls and provide follow-up instructions. + Support scheduling, referrals, and general clinical operations. Essential Skills + Patient care and patient rooming and preparation. + Taking and recording vital signs. + EMR proficiency (especially NEXGEN EMR is a plus). + Patient charting and documentation skills. + Experience as a medical assistant or in healthcare settings. Additional Skills & Qualifications + No MA diploma or certification required. + CNA or healthcare experience outside of formal schooling accepted. + Willingness to travel between offices (mileage reimbursed). + Flexibility within the Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-6:30 PM schedule. Work Environment This float role requires flexibility within the Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-6:30 PM window. Locations include Danbury, Ridgefield, Brookfield, and Norwalk. If scheduled in Norwalk, you will remain in Norwalk for the day.
