Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Network Security Engineer . The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in network and product security, identity management, cloud security, compliance, and secure architecture design. This role is critical in securing enterprise systems, applications, and infrastructure across large-scale, regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of secure network architectures for enterprise systems, APIs, cloud environments, and payment-related platforms.

  • Act as the Security Subject Matter Expert for delivery teams, guiding secure engineering practices and network security controls.

  • Conduct security reviews of network, cloud, and application architectures to ensure resilience, scalability, and protection against threats .

  • Develop, maintain, and enforce network and security reference architectures , technical standards, and best practices.

  • Integrate application and product security into the network ecosystem to minimize vulnerabilities in distributed systems.

  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements (including PCI DSS, GDPR, CCPA, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001).

  • Drive adoption of identity and access management (IAM) technologies across network and cloud platforms.

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed security-by-design principles within deployments.

  • Provide leadership in securing cloud-based environments, especially within AWS security services and cloud network configurations.

  • Support the implementation of cryptography, secure communication patterns, and fraud prevention mechanisms across the network layer.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Network Security, Product Security, or Enterprise Security Architecture.

  • Strong knowledge of Customer IAM technologies including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0.

  • Deep experience with AWS cloud security (VPC, Security Groups, WAF, IAM, Secrets Manager, KMS, Shield, GuardDuty, etc.).

  • Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals , secure API communication, and integrating AppSec with network controls.

  • Hands-on experience with cryptography , data protection mechanisms, and payment-security patterns .

  • Familiarity with fraud prevention solutions and securing transactional environments.

  • Proven experience working with regulatory and compliance frameworks :

    • PCI DSS, GDPR, CCPA

    • NIST 800-53

    • ISO 27001

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with teams, auditors, and senior stakeholders.
