Description We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to join our team in Herndon, Virginia. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for a detail-oriented candidate with a strong background in administrative operations and multitasking. The role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage office functions and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Responsibilities: - Oversee front office activities, including reception duties and visitor management. - Coordinate with vendors to order and maintain office supplies as needed. - Handle accounts payable tasks and ensure timely processing of invoices. - Manage general administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. - Take initiative to identify and resolve operational challenges in the office. - Maintain an organized and efficient workspace to support team productivity. - Support multitasking efforts by prioritizing and handling various responsibilities simultaneously. - Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations efficiently. - Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures. - Foster a supportive and welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of solid administrative experience in an office setting. - Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in all tasks. - Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and take initiative in solving problems. - Experience in handling accounts payable and managing vendor relationships. - Familiarity with front office operations and receptionist duties.
