Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Outside Sales Specialist in commercial and industrial industries to a local team in Lenexa, KS. In this role, you will be the face of our company, building relationships with clients and driving sales in the industrial & commercial construction sector. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers across purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and quality teams

  • Travel throughout your territory to meet with current and prospective customers, strengthening existing accounts while identifying new opportunities.

  • Conduct site visits and assessments to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate project execution.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions.

  • Attend trade shows and networking events to promote our services and products.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus.
