System One is seeking a skilled Process Engineer with strong injection molding and tooling experience to support new product development and process improvement initiatives. This role offers a hands-on, high-impact opportunity within a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.
Lead process development and improvement for new tooling and injection molding projects.
Plan and execute tool validations, DOE runs, and qualification activities .
Troubleshoot machine, tool, and process issues during development and sampling.
Coordinate and schedule mold samplings with cross-functional teams and production.
Develop and document optimized process parameters , ensuring repeatability and quality.
Travel to tooling suppliers and other facilities to support initial tool sampling and validation.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, documentation accuracy, and process control procedures .
Must-Haves
5+ years of injection molding process engineering experience.
Strong background in tooling, mold setup, and process troubleshooting .
Proven ability to independently manage sampling, validation, and process documentation.
Nice-to-Haves
Degree in Plastics Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Experience in medical-grade molding or other regulated manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with DOE methodologies, process monitoring software, and GD&T .
