Job Summary:

The Regional Vice President, Facilities Management is a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing the delivery of comprehensive hard and soft facility services across a large, multi-site territory. This role ensures operational excellence, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement in service delivery while aligning with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Governance

  • Develop and execute a regional IFM strategy aligned with client and corporate objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver integrated services including engineering, maintenance, janitorial, security, landscaping, and workplace experience.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders, ensuring alignment on KPIs, SLAs, and strategic initiatives.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee the performance of hard services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, building automation) and soft services (cleaning, reception, mailroom, catering, waste management).
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA, IFMA).

Financial & Contract Management

  • Manage multi-million-dollar budgets, ensuring cost optimization and financial performance.
  • Lead contract negotiations, vendor management, and procurement strategies to ensure value delivery.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, forecasting, and capital planning.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build and lead high-performing, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and innovation.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels of the organization.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations to enhance the workplace experience.
  • Lead business reviews, performance reporting, and strategic planning sessions with clients.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and service expansion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Hard and soft services within Datacenter business. 
  • 10 years of progressive leadership experience in IFM or related industries.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-site operations across diverse geographies.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L responsibility.
  • Certifications such as IFMA CFM, PMP, LEED AP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with digital FM platforms, IoT, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Background in sectors such as life sciences, technology, manufacturing, hotels or healthcare.
