Registered Dialysis Nurses (RN) – Brooklyn, NY

Centers Dialysis Care is seeking experienced Registered Dialysis Nurses for our dialysis centers across Brooklyn, Bronx, and Rockland County. Work in a supportive environment where employees are appreciated and rewarded.

Duties

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess patient status and implement and monitor the progression of care
• Perform care coordination and patient education
• Administer medications and other treatments, as directed by provider/physician staff
• Monitor patients throughout treatment and document patient responses to treatment requirements
• Mobilize resources in complex cases to maximize patients' control and participation over their recovery
• Integrate assessment and diagnostic information with intuition to foresee potential age-specific healthcare needs; anticipate patients' needs
• Ensure handoff communication and include a report on situations most likely to develop and problems awaiting patients
• Display the ability to see the entire unit and be self-motivated to develop a plan for adjusting staffing patterns as needed
• Plan and provide unique and individualized comfort measures while utilizing intuitive and innovative approaches that are scientifically sound and evidence-based
• Participate in performance improvement activities at the unit level
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Requirements

• Active NY RN License
• CPR Certification
• Clinical nursing experience in a dialysis setting preferred

$45.00 - $55.00
