This Respiratory Therapist position at a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center requires floating between units, including floor care, ER, and participation in code and rapid response teams. The role involves providing respiratory care to patients of diverse acuity levels within a fast-paced hospital environment. Weekend work is required every other weekend, on a block schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Providing respiratory care to patients across various units (floor, ER).
- Responding to codes and rapid responses.
- Managing patient care based on acuity levels.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment.
- Adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current Respiratory Therapist license in Washington state.
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in floor care and emergency room settings.
- Competency in code and rapid response protocols.
- Ability to work weekends (every other weekend).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center or similar setting.
- Experience with a variety of respiratory equipment and modalities.
- Experience with diverse patient populations (pediatric and adult).
- Advanced certifications in respiratory care.
Special Considerations:
- Floating between units is required.
