Job Title: Sales Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex technical products and customer needs by delivering tailored solutions and driving sales. You'll work closely with the engineering, sales, and customer success teams to provide pre- and post-sales support, demonstrate product value, and help close business deals.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training for prospective and existing clients.
Prepare and deliver technical proposals, documentation, and quotes.
Assist with RFPs, RFQs, and tender responses by providing detailed technical input.
Act as a technical advisor to customers and channel partners.
Coordinate with engineering/product teams to relay customer feedback and inform future development.
Support post-sales implementation and resolve technical issues as needed.
Stay current with industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or related field) or equivalent technical background.
3+ years of experience in technical sales, engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role.
Strong understanding of the sales cycle and solution-based selling techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Proficient with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and technical documentation software.
Willingness to travel to client sites as required (up to [X]% travel).
Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with product simulations, CAD tools, or API integrations (if applicable).
