**About the Job You're Considering**
Capgemini Engineering is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Executive or Sr. Sales Developer to join our team in Los Angeles or NYC/NJ area. This role is focused on leading client relationships in the Media sector, driving business growth, and delivering innovative, tech-driven solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills, capable of engaging at the executive level and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results.
**Your Role**
+ Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the Media sector
+ Identify and pursue new business opportunities with tailored engineering solutions
+ Develop and implement account strategies to drive revenue and align with client goals
+ Lead project delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence
+ Collaborate with internal teams (sales, engineering, delivery) to deliver seamless client solutions
+ Stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape to offer innovative solutions
+ Monitor account performance, manage budgets, and ensure profitability
+ Act as the voice of the client within Capgemini, advocating for their needs and expectations
**Your Skills & Experience**
+ Proven experience in Media & Entertainment sales.
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
+ 7 years in account management or business development in the media industry
+ Strong understanding of media workflows, content delivery, and broadcasting systems
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
+ Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office
+ Familiarity with digital transformation, AI/ML, cloud architectures, and enterprise applications
+ Experience in Engineering Services sales within a global, complex environment
+ Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills
+ Self-motivated and effective in a matrix organization
**Preferred:**
+ Experience with major media companies (e.g., Disney Universal, Warner Brothers, Paramount Global, ESPN)
+ Skilled in business plan development and execution
+ Understanding of modern enterprise architecture
+ Experience in direct and channel-based selling
+ Proven ability to independently lead $5-10M deals
+ Hunter mentality with strong execution and accountability
