Akkodis is seeking an SAP Basis & SECURITY Consultant for a Contract with a client in Bellevue, WA(Remote). The ideal candidate responsible for developing robust data models and delivering insightful analytics through Azure-based data platforms.

Rate Range: $64/hour to $71/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

SAP Basis & SECURITY Consultant job responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and manage SAP Security roles and authorizations for SAP HANA systems hosted on Azure, ensuring compliance with SOX, GDPR, and BFSI regulations.

• Perform user provisioning, role testing, Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, and support GRC integration and risk assessments.

• Execute core SAP BASIS administration activities including client copies, transports, system monitoring, performance tuning, and job scheduling.

• Support SAP migration activities such as export/import, SUM/DMO execution, system validation, and post‑migration stabilization.

• Configure and maintain secure communications (SSL/TLS), encryption, RFCs, logical systems, and integration points across SAP landscapes.

• Monitor and audit system access logs, implement security remediation, and provide security sign‑off for cutover and post‑go‑live operations while collaborating with BASIS and Azure infrastructure teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in SAP BASIS and SAP Security with hands‑on exposure to SAP HANA environments.

• Strong expertise in SAP Security and Authorizations, including role design, user provisioning, GRC integration, and compliance with SOX, GDPR, and BFSI regulatory standards.

• Proven experience in SAP BASIS administration and migration activities on Azure, including system monitoring, performance tuning, SUM/DMO execution, and secure system configurations.

Pay Details: $64.00 to $71.00 per hour
