What You'll Do:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to students with visual impairments.
Provide engaging, direct instruction across various subjects, adapting materials and teaching methods to meet unique learning needs.
Incorporate assistive technologies and specialized resources to enhance student learning experiences.
Collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff to create a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned to best support student success.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
Certification or endorsement in Teaching Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) (required).
Previous experience working with visually impaired students is preferred but not required.
Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills.
