Busy Event Venue Seeking Security/Parking Lot Attendant

Part-Time | Starting at $25 per hour

We are a fast-paced, high-traffic event venue seeking a dependable and personable Security/Parking Lot Attendant to join our team. This is an important front-line position where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our property while providing a welcoming first impression to every guest who enters our venue.

As the first point of contact for visitors, you will be responsible for greeting guests, monitoring vehicles and foot traffic, and upholding venue policies during live events. You will help maintain order, protect the property, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a safe, positive experience for all guests, staff, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist guests, vendors, and staff entering and exiting the property in a friendly and professional manner
• Monitor parking lot activity and ensure only authorized vehicles and individuals are permitted on site
• Enforce venue policies and safety rules during events to protect guests, staff, and property
• Maintain a visible presence on the premises to deter theft, vandalism, or unsafe behavior
• Report suspicious activity, incidents, or safety hazards promptly to management
• Support event operations by directing traffic and assisting with crowd control as needed
• Provide accurate information and directions to guests and help resolve minor issues calmly and respectfully

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must hold a valid guard card (must remain current for at least the next 18 months)
• Prior security or customer service experience preferred, especially in high-traffic or event environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Dependable, punctual, and professional appearance at all times
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol the premises for extended periods during events
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
