Dear Potential Caregiver, We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated au pair to provide in-home care for my elderly parents, an 81-year-old mother and a 92-year-old stepfather, in their warm and welcoming home. This is a unique opportunity for a long-term candidate, with no maximum time restriction from our perspective, to live in a beautiful country environment surrounded by lakes, streams, mountains, and cities within reasonable travel distances, with full room and board provided. Your primary responsibilities will include cooking, cleaning, laundry, and providing companionship to ensure my parents' comfort and well-being. We prioritize healthy eating, focusing on meals made from scratch using local meats and vegetables, avoiding processed foods. If you're not experienced in this style of cooking, we are happy to teach you. Additionally, we would greatly appreciate assistance with gardening and light household tasks, as my parents cherish their home and outdoor space. The ideal candidate is kind, patient, and enjoys building meaningful connections with others. Experience in elder care is a plus but not required, as a genuine desire to support and care for my parents is most important. You will have your own private living space and access to the serene surroundings, offering a peaceful and fulfilling lifestyle.
