As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in building scalable, reliable, and high-quality data systems that empower teams to make informed decisions. You will work closely with analytics, product, and engineering teams to design and implement data pipelines and workflows that drive real business impact. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse data sources, cloud platforms, and ETL frameworks while optimizing performance, cost, and reliability. You will contribute to data observability, automated testing, and CI/CD processes, ensuring trust in data systems. Accountabilities:
• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Ingest data from diverse sources, including APIs, databases, SaaS applications, and event streams.
• Implement data transformations using dbt or similar tools for reliable, testable, and maintainable pipelines.
• Develop and maintain data models, schema design, and ensure data quality best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and data products.
• Implement CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, alerting, and incident response for production data systems.
• Optimize performance and cost of data workflows and storage across cloud platforms.
• Leverage automation and AI to create self-service tools and intelligent pipelines that streamline repetitive tasks.

Requirements

 • 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering with a focus on scalable pipelines and data products.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with dbt or equivalent ETL tools in production environments.
• Practical knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Databricks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and data observability.
• Strong foundation in data modeling, schema design, and data quality practices.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, emphasizing clarity, empathy, and shared ownership.
• Understanding of AI and automation applications in data engineering is a plus.
