The Sr. Manager, Global Intelligence is responsible for the oversight and delivery of the Intelligence Center of Excellence (ICoE) program and ensuring Stryker’s employees and business units benefit from effective, prevention-oriented, and sustainable risk identification and mitigation programs. This role will be accountable for the effective execution of proactive monitoring of emergent threats to Stryker’s people, facilities, and assets globally, and for the detection, assessment, and response to risks that may impact Stryker and/or disrupt business operations. The Sr. Manager will serve as a thought leader within Stryker’s Global Security program and will envision and execute the next iteration of the ICoE which will include intelligence programs, products, and guidance in support of global risk monitoring, mergers & acquisitions, real estate investments, market assessment and entry, executive protection and event security. Partnering closely with key stakeholders within the Commercial businesses and Corporate functions, this global role will ensure the fulfillment of Stryker’s fiduciary Duty of Care responsibilities relative to our people, while empowering business resilience and continuity of operations in partnership with Stryker’s Crisis Management, Business Continuity, and Enterprise Risk Management programs.

What you need
In line with the overarching Global Security strategy, lead the evolution of the Intelligence Center of Excellence and implement programs that identify, assess, and mitigate risks to Stryker’s associates, facilities, proprietary information, and brand/reputation.
Oversee the development of actionable intelligence products that enable Stryker to make accurate, real-time decisions to ensure the safety and well-being of our global workforce on topics such as geopolitical developments, civil unrest, crime trends, terrorism, and other risks.
Manage direct hires and all intelligence and emergency response-related vendors who comprise Stryker’s Intelligence Center of Excellence to include a 24/7 Global Security Communications Center.
Lead the evolution of the Global Security Communications Center to deliver scalable, sustainable, and consistent security support to all Stryker sites and employees.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with and provide consultation to local management teams, regional leaders, and Division decision-makers.
Maintain competencies related to open source and social media analysis; information collection management; journey management and employee travel profile assessments; country risk assessments and risk ratings; and crisis management and crisis response.
Deliver written and verbal risk reduction training and products related to travel and country-specific threats to individual employees, functional partners, and executive leadership.
Produce targeted reporting for the business, to include the early detection of emerging crisis, and operational guidance that will assist Stryker in making informed decisions around risk prevention, crisis management and business continuity.
Support the Executive Protection program by providing pre-travel logistical assistance, protective intelligence reporting, and direct operational support to impacted members of executive leadership or large-scale Stryker events as dictated by risk assessments.
Lead efforts to track and analyze metrics associated with the Intelligence Center of Excellence, identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, and implement mechanisms to optimize the program.

Bachelor's degree
10+ years of work experience required.
Experience working in or managing a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC)
Proven experience leading global intelligence programs in a multinational corporate environment, with a strong focus on cultural relevance and geographic sensitivity.
Deep understanding of global intelligence networks , open-source collection methodologies, and relationship management with international partners, including government and non-governmental organizations.
Commitment to a 24/7 operational readiness culture , with high responsiveness and availability in alignment with team and organizational mandates.
Preferred
Extensive knowledge of core security disciplines , including site security, executive protection, event security, crisis management, and intelligence tools and platforms.
Demonstrated success in high-pressure, matrixed organizations , with the ability to adapt and lead in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills , including the ability to identify second- and third-order implications and brief senior executive stakeholders effectively.

Strong documentation and communication skills , including the ability to develop compelling reports and presentations for C-level audiences.

$149,300 - 329,000 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
