Position Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Location: Kalamazoo, MI.
Pay Range: $16.00/Hour
Shift: 1st
Schedule: M-F, 6:00AM- 2:30PM
Job Description:
- Preparing and shipping outgoing orders.
- Must be able to operator a forklift.
- Must be able to verifying order details, package items, create shipping labels, and arrange for shipment.
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying quantities and checking for damage.
- Interact cross departmentally to ensure quality and accuracy through the process.
- May interact with customers, suppliers, and shipping carriers to address issues or questions.
- Must maintain a high level of professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Using measuring devices, placing shipping labels.
- Must have forklift experience.
- Ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and shipping processes.
- Must be able to be on feet for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift 10 lbs. repetitively
- Must be knowledgeable with basic hand tools
- Must be able to read tape measure
- Experience in a warehouse of distribution center
- Required to wear proper PPE at all times.
