Job Title: Social Services Assistant Facility: Charming Lakes Rehabilitation Location: Lakeland, Florida Shift: Part-Time (4 hours/day, Monday-Friday) Salary: $16 - $20 per hour Job Description: Charming Lakes Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Services Assistant to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting the Social Services Department by helping plan, organize, and implement services that improve the quality of life for our residents. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the daily operations of the Social Services Department in compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations Support discharge planning, care plan development, and resident assessments Collaborate with administration, medical, and nursing staff on resident needs Encourage resident and family involvement in care plans and care plan meetings Help educate staff on Residents’ Rights and promote dignity and respect Follow infection control protocols and report any exposures Participate in emergency preparedness and safety trainings Complete required training and maintain current CPR/First Aid certification Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting preferred, but not required Basic computer skills Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written) Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure Team player with a positive and compassionate attitude Apply Today!
