**_Senior Advanced Software Engineer for Honeywell International, Inc. in Atlanta, GA_** **_Responsibilities:_** + Designing a world-class cloud infrastructure and platform for IoT, SaaS and Data Analytics solutions delivering high reliability and the best performance possible. + Develop P.O.C working along with business and cross functional teams + Own the effective deployment of microservices architecture into production, working with development teams and QA to ensure quality delivery. + Guide decision making for design decisions which may impact site reliability or scalability. + Build a streamlined continuous delivery pipeline to enable fast delivery of the cloud hosted offerings. + Ensuring cost-effective service delivery by automating critical processes, including new releases, configuration, monitoring, and problem resolution. + Work with cyber-security architects to ensure systems are secure and compliant with industry best practices. + Perform quick and accurate troubleshooting, diagnostic to production system. + Assisting with capacity planning and scalability to ensure systems are optimized for continuous growth. + Design and implement system automation architecture, infrastructure, and processes. + Work with Operations to design systems to allow easy deployment of systems to meet customers' requirements (hybrid, private, multi-tenant cloud). + Design and implement IaaS and infrastructure as code strategies aligned to deployment needs. + Provide technical input as required into the design and planning of new features, focusing on the deploy-ability of the products. + Build product features that are extensible, scalable, and adhere to best practices. + Provide problem solving for technical challenges. **_YOU MUST HAVE:_** + Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field and 7 years of experience in the job offered or acceptable alternate occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree in the above-listed fields and 5 years of experience in the job offered or acceptable alternate occupation. + Full term of experience must include: complex algorithms and data structures; operating systems and network topology; high level object oriented programming languages; web technologies; Middle ware technologies with emphasis on System and Device Integration, Server Applications; hands on experience with Java, Python, C++ as system applications are developed on multiple platforms which leverage native libraries performance on Linux OS; developing client and server applications with emphasis on API development and consumption using REST; SQL; hands-on experience with Software Architecture & Design and leverage of standard design patterns for cloud, on-premise and hybrid solution; and hands-on experience of migrating on-premise application to cloud using container orchestration engines such as Docker and Kubernetes; experience leading different teams technically over different geographical locations; in requirement elicitation, working with internal business teams, external customers and other subject matter experts; translating customer requirements to technical requirements that can be implemented; and supporting customers and troubleshooting field issues. **_ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:_** + Location: Atlanta, GA + 40 hours/week + Employee Referral Fee: $1500 + If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S. EOE.
