Job Description

Job Title: Surgical Tech, OR  (CST)               

Duration: 13 weeks contract (Extendable)

Work Location:- Hyannis, MA

Shift timing:- 07:00 am – 03:30 pm EST.

Key Responsibilities:

• Escort patients to the surgical chair and screen them before procedures.
• Review medical records to confirm treatment plans and ensure documentation is complete.
• Provide consistent four-handed chairside assistance to clinicians during surgeries.
• Clean and disinfect all surfaces and equipment prior to procedures.
• Prepare and organize sterile instruments, surgical trays, and equipment.
• Take radiographs before, during, and after procedures as requested.
• Monitor patient vitals and assist with suctioning, passing instruments, and administering medications.
• Remove instruments post-procedure and dispose of medical waste properly.
• Restock surgical areas and maintain inventory of medical/surgical supplies.
• Respond effectively and professionally in case of medical emergencies.

Required Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Tech certificate
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Heart Saver certification
• Associate’s Degree required
