Job Description
Factory Direct Marine & RV is seeking a transport driver. The ideal candidate has a valid driver’s license, clear driving record, and previous experience hauling boats, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and driving Class C and Class A motorhomes, and is accustomed to long drive times. This is a GREAT job for a retiree who would like to see the country!
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with Service Managers and other company management to schedule and arrange for timely unit pickups and dropoffs.
- Drive responsibly, ensuring that units are hitched safely and properly for successful transport.
- This job involves some dialogue with company customers. Therefore, professional and friendly decorum is a MUST.
- Demand for unit delivery fluctuates, therefore a flexible schedule is preferred.
Job requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Clear driving record
- Prior experience hauling boats and towable RVs, as well as driving Class C and A motorhomes is preferred
- A driver with their own truck is preferred, but not required. If supplying your own truck, payment will be hourly plus mileage. If using a company truck, pay will be hourly.
