What You’ll Do

Boat, RV, and powersports lovers—this one’s for you. Trader Interactive is seeking a visionary Video Content Producer to join our growing content team and bring our storytelling, product reviews, and educational content to life through compelling visuals. This is a new role, and you won’t just be shooting videos—you’ll help build and shape our video strategy from the ground up. You’ll have the creative freedom to define how we capture lifestyle, learning, and product-focused moments that connect with enthusiasts across the boating, RV, and powersports communities. Whether it’s filming an interview with an OEM executive, directing a docuseries behind the scenes of a dealership, or crafting short instructional clips—you’ll be hands-on from shoot to screen.

Video Production & Editing

  • Film and produce a variety of content: review videos, teaser trailers, behind-the-scenes footage, editorial sizzle reels, OEM interviews, and docuseries-style features
  • Capture b-roll, voiceovers, and original content for social, editorial, advertorial, and internal storytelling needs
  • Edit and deliver on time, polished videos in multiple formats for site embeds, YouTube, and social platforms
  • Use platform analytics data to drive key metrics such as engagement and total running time
  • Work well with on-camera talent to create a safe and enjoyable environment, while maintaining timelines and quality

Visual Asset Library & Photography

  • Build and manage a robust internal photo and video library
  • Travel to dealerships or events to capture lifestyle imagery and evergreen assets for editorial, advice articles, and product showcases
  • Keep track on video inventory and provide clear structure and communication for easy access of all resources

Creative Strategy

  • Work closely with the Senior Content Marketing Manager to shape our long-term video vision
  • Collaborate with presenters, writers, animators, designers, and marketing partners to ensure visual alignment with brand goals
  • Brainstorm and pitch original formats, campaigns, or video series
  • Deliver assets that are on brand and align with brand guidelines
  • Evaluate trends, assess new data and keep up to date with the latest video marketing techniques

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in videography, editing, and creative production
  • Portfolio showcasing diverse video work (documentary, product review, branded content, lifestyle)
  • Experience growing YouTube channels and creating content specifically for changing algorithms and SEO
  • Willing to travel frequently to capture content at events, dealerships, or with partners
  • Skilled producer/interviewer that can find the story in an interview and direct questions and shots that work for multiple content platforms and delivery types
  • Ability & comfortability to direct on-camera talent and keep in mind visuals

Bonus Points:

  • Experience directing presenters, voiceovers, podcast production, or building photo libraries
  • Familiarity with animation workflows or working alongside motion designers
  • On-camera experience & knowledge
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and audio editing tools
