Careerscape is hiring for a wind energy company operating farms across North Dakota that needs Technicians to maintain and repair wind turbines. You'll travel to sites throughout the state keeping turbines running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on wind turbines
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical failures
• Climb turbines up to 300 feet to access components
• Replace parts including gearboxes, generators, and blades
• Use diagnostic computers and specialized tools
• Document all maintenance and repairs
• Follow strict safety procedures and protocols
• Respond to emergency calls for turbine shutdowns
• Travel to multiple wind farm sites as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or technical degree
• Wind turbine technician training preferred
• At least 1 year of wind or industrial maintenance experience
• Comfortable working at extreme heights
• Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver license with clean record
• Physical fitness to climb towers daily
• Willing to travel and stay at remote sites
• Strong commitment to safety procedures
