Job Title: X-Ray Technician

Pay Rate: $61/hr
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking X-Ray Technician for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and oversee radiologic imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients for radiological procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort.
- Adhere to strict radiation protection and infection control protocols for the safety of patients and staff.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with preventive maintenance schedules.
- Accurately document patient care and exam results in electronic medical records (Epic or similar systems).
- Manage radiology supply inventory and maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Support administrative tasks as needed, including greeting patients, check-in, and coordinating workflow.
- Stay current with continuing education (CME) requirements and participate in professional development activities.
- Contribute to a collaborative, respectful, and patient-focused team environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in performing diagnostic procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-oriented.
- Comfortable assisting with administrative and patient-facing tasks.
