Job Description

Salary: $119,000 - 179,000 per year Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is essential; advanced studies or degree are preferred. Typically, this role requires 8-10 years of related experience.
  • 8-10 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, data management, and/or data science projects within the Financial Services industry, complemented by experience in working collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
  • Proven experience in gathering requirements, data modeling, and designing and developing data-centric solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Cloud technologies such as Informatica (IDMC/IICS), Kafka, Dremio, GraphQL, AWS, Snowflake, and MongoDB.
  • The ability to quickly grasp new technologies and effectively collaborate with stakeholders to influence outcomes.
  • A strong understanding of differing perspectives and the capability to work flexibly across teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement the enterprise data platform (Nexus), encompassing various data ingestion, storage, and consumption patterns.
  • Support enterprise initiatives for Nexus solutions to fulfill their ingestion and consumption requirements.
  • Ensure that solutions are both optimal and robust; conduct research to identify potential issues during development stages and ensure compliance with data governance requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies for the enterprise data platform to meet diverse ingestion and consumption patterns.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business needs and communicate these to data architects, engineering, and platform teams for the development of optimal solutions.
  • Coordinate with management on identifying, escalating, and remediating issues.
  • Assist with weekly and monthly metrics, reporting, and prepare materials for stakeholder meetings.

It’s crucial that you are adept at documenting requirements and providing direction across teams, all while ensuring that data solutions are innovative, globally relevant, functional, and straightforward, ultimately delivering value across multiple business areas.
