Position Overview

The Director of Technology Deployment will oversee the successful implementation, integration, and scaling of technology systems across PAC’s global project portfolio. This role will lead multidisciplinary teams in the deployment of advanced systems—including automation, robotics, warehouse technology, and industrial infrastructure—across greenfield and brownfield sites. The Director will serve as a strategic leader, executional expert, and cross-functional liaison between PAC leadership, clients, and field operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end deployment strategy of PAC’s technology solutions across major client programs
  • Manage cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, site supervisors, and field technicians
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to define deployment requirements, timelines, and success criteria
  • Oversee commissioning, integration, and operational hand-off of technology systems, ensuring technical excellence and on-time delivery
  • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives across all deployment efforts
  • Provide strategic input into resource planning, budgeting, and vendor coordination for deployment operations
  • Partner with internal departments to ensure field feedback informs solution enhancements and organizational learning
  • Monitor field progress, assess risks, and implement corrective actions to resolve issues in real-time
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and mentoring of deployment personnel across global sites
  • Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and client standards in every project phase

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in technology deployment, systems integration, or industrial engineering
  • 5+ years of senior leadership experience in fast-paced deployment, construction, or technical program management
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale deployments on time and within budget
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation, robotics, and systems commissioning
  • Familiarity with field operations in warehousing, manufacturing, or logistics environments
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation including electrical/mechanical schematics, layouts, and integration plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of influencing at all levels of an organization
  • Willingness to travel up to 50–75%, both domestically and internationally, as needed
  • PMP certification or similar project/program management credential is a plus
