**Lab Assistant** **Location:** Sunnyvale, CA **Shift** : M-F, standard working hours **Pay** : $28.66-$30.66/hr **RESPONSIBILITIES** : + Maintain accurate inventory and location of pre-clinical and clinical samples + Maintain sample integrity + Accession pre-clinical and clinical samples into repository database + Perform data entry/scanning of sample identification into repository database + Organize and consolidate samples in relation to research studies + Handles various types of biospecimens including fresh and frozen biofluids (e.g. blood, urine, stool, saliva, etc.) + Monitors temperatures of storage refrigerators and freezers **REQUIREMENTS** : **Education** : + Bachelor of Science in life science or equivalent with 0-2 years of work experience **Physical Demands:** + Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 35 lbs. + Must be able to process and handle materials frozen on dry ice (-80°C) for up to 6 hours per day + Must be able to use a computer up to 6 hours per day + Participation in Hepatitis B vaccination program required As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
