Position Overview

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a scientific expert and strategic partner, bridging clinical and scientific knowledge between the company and the medical community. The MSL is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and the specialists we serve by delivering accurate and Timely medical information and supporting clinical and scientific initiatives aligned with the company’s goals. This individual will serve as a liaison between our scientific and clinical leadership team and customers, with the goal of ensuring test results provide maximum clinical utility to those we serve.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MS) in a life-sciences or clinical discipline.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant MSL, clinical, or scientific experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry.
• Strong understanding of clinical research methodology, genomic testing in the Oncology space, data interpretation, and therapeutic landscapes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with interpretation and reporting of somatic variants.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in molecular biology, genetics and genomics, or a similar field. 
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Experienced laboratory genetic counseling.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with KOLs, healthcare providers, and clinical investigators.
• Provide scientific and clinical information in response to medical inquiries in a fair and balanced manner.
• In collaboration with commercial team, gather and communicate actionable medical insights to inform company strategy.
• Support in driving customer adoption by collaborating closely with the Commercial organization.
• Participate in relevant industry conferences.
• Responsible for staying up to date with policies.
• Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory guidelines and company policies in all interactions.
• Communicate e?ectively with physicians and clients regarding test results.
• Travel as required for customer interactions.
