Job Overview Global Power & Construction Inc. (GPC) is seeking a highly motivated Project Superintendent to manage and execute complex commercial and industrial construction in the Omaha, NE region, with the potential to take on upcoming projects across the nation. This position is essential to the successful delivery of start-to-finish commercial projects and requires an individual with strong leadership skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to manage subcontractors, maintain site safety, and drive schedules. You will be the on-site leader, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and with the highest level of quality.

Learn more about us at Key Responsibilities - Develop, maintain, and revise the project schedule (minimum bi-weekly).
- Oversee daily operations and jobsite coordination from start to finish.
- Complete daily field reports and detailed weekly updates, including progress photos.
- Ensure strict safety compliance with OSHA regulations and GPC protocols.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager (PM) on submittals, scopes, and communication with owners.
- Conduct weekly jobsite safety meetings and submit environmental reports as required.
- Manage and enforce cleanliness and organization on all job sites.
- Approve and track Time & Material (T&M) tickets, ensuring proper documentation and authorization.
- Support field purchasing, ensuring all costs are pre-approved by PM.
- Communicate effectively and proactively with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in construction supervision or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial construction processes. Including everything from ground-up construction, site work, wood framing, MEP's and finish work.
- Familiarity with union labor is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, scopes, and submittals with expert-level proficiency.
- Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be willing to travel for projects and manage out-of-town job sites as needed.
- OSHA training/certification preferred.

Work Schedule - Full-Time - Monday to Friday
- Projects may require occasional weekend work and travel, depending on location and deadlines.
Work Location - This position is for projects in the Omaha, NE area, specifically in Papillion, NE
- Potential for Nationwide (Travel Required)
- Base of operations determined by project site - must be comfortable with travel and remote jobsite management.
